Attendance Matters 🏫 Missing just TWO days a month can equate to chronic absenteeism which negatively affects a student’s academic performance. Being on-time, every time is important for your child to receive necessary instructional time and ensure a bright future! 👨🎓
What YOU can do to improve attendance: 🎒
• Establish bedtime and morning routines.
• Go to bed earlier
(Elementary school-aged children need 9 to 11 hours of sleep)
• Lay out clothes & have backpack
ready to go the night before
• Develop backup plans for getting to school
(in case something comes up: missing the bus, car trouble, etc)
• Reach out to the school if your child is
anxious about going to school
