Good afternoon. Tomorrow, Friday, January 10th, 2025, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day for all Taylor County Schools. This is NTI Day #2 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10-3pm. Parents and Guardians are asked to review our NTID Family Plan video for more information on student expectations, available teacher supports, and meal availability for students. This video can be viewed on our Taylor County Schools website, YouTube channel, and social media page.
As part of the NTID day plan, we offer meals to students. The family must call 304-265-4090 no later than 10:00 a.m. for meals to be ready to serve at 12:00pm. Meals must be consumed on site. We are no longer allowed to package meals for pick-up. Students must be enrolled in Taylor County Schools but do not have to attend the specific school where they come to eat.

The WV Dept. of Education is reporting continued issues with their program Livegrades. They are working on getting it operational as soon as possible. TCS will send updates as we get them. Thank you for your patience while we work through the issues.
Just a reminder, we have a two hour early dismissal today for all Taylor County Schools. Anna Jarvis will dismiss at 12:45 parent pick up will be from 1255 to 1:05.
Since we had a snow day on holiday hat day, we have had requests to change our theme for tomorrow to Cozy Christmas from head to toe with wearing holiday headwear and holiday socks.
