AJES is honored that Mrs. McCauley and her 4th grade students had Rhododendron ornaments they created and submitted on display in DC this year. The state of WV sent 14,000 ornaments to decorate this tree and others inside the capital building. Our goal was to make it on the big tree outside, and we did it! Ornaments were requested to tell something about the state, be made of recycled materials, be light weight, be large and colorful, and to withstand the outdoors. Mrs. McCauley was told our ornaments were in the top 5 best submitted!
