Fun Tip for Families: Set a positive example by establishing a daily routine of reading a story with your child. Children often take cues from the adults around them, and creating this routine may encourage your child to read independently. Never stop modeling the importance of developing literacy skills! Doors will open 10 minutes before the start time of the parties listed on the schedule. If you are wanting your child to be parent pick up on Tuesday following the parade, please send a note with your child to school that morning. If you are picking up your child, you will still have to get in the parent pick-up line and not come to the office to sign them out.

Fun Tip Friday for Families One way to improve your child’s literacy skills is to link what is read in the book with real life. For example, if you read a book about the park, take your child to the park and point out the slides, swing sets, etc., that were seen in the book. Check out this short video for ways to support your child. https://youtu.be/itC6gvkQUv0?si=UGuBbYjKswFYqYJb
