The Senior Breakfast originally scheduled for Thursday, May 28th has been canceled. To better accommodate family schedules and allow for greater participation, we are excited to host the Senior Reception.

Join us for an evening of celebration as we recognize the accomplishments of the Class of 2026!
✨ Appetizers provided by GHS ProStart
🎓 Honor graduate cords will be distributed
The Senior Sermon will follow the reception. Please note that both events are optional, and you are welcome to attend either or both.
We encourage all seniors and families to join us as we celebrate this special milestone. We can’t wait to celebrate the Class of 2026 with you! 🎓🎉
Hard copies of the calendar for seniors have been put in the main office, counseling office, and outside of the cafeteria. They have also been sent out on Senior Teams and included in the email to all Class of 2026 members.

Congratulations to the 2026 National Cemetery Essay Contest winners, who were recognized during yesterday’s board meeting. Your meaningful work and commitment to honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation are truly inspiring.
Students from Grafton High School spent a day from their Spring Break to attend the Regional Social Studies Fair at Glenville State University's Waco Center on Tuesday, April 7.
Students who presented at the regional social studies fair qualified at the county-level fair at GHS in March.
The following students won first place for their projects and have qualified for the state social studies fair in Charleston on April 28:
U.S. History – Group – Jaylin Summers and Anna Poling “Women Do the Work”
Geography – Individual – Paislee Freeman “Long Way From Home: SGT. Edward R. Winston”
The following students placed second for their project:
World History – Group – Corinne Miller, Addison Sole, Cameron Gray, Taylor Bolyard “The History of Legos”
These students represented Grafton well with their project about the history of Grafton:
State and Local History – Ainsley Alexander, Gracie Poling, and Zane Reneman “Welcome to Historic Grafton”

Spring Break, for students, begins Thursday, April 2.

The Health Department will be at GHS on April 29th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM to offer vaccines.
They will be providing the meningitis vaccine, which is required before senior year or for participation in summer sports/activities after junior year. Any student age 16 or older is eligible.
