The GHS library classes have set up a White Table for Memorial Day in honor of Bearcats who did not return from war. 🇺🇸

Thank you Cassie and Lindsay for helping to review and coach students for FBLA Nationals in June! Business Plan competitive event students, Aubrey Roy, Callie Copeland, and Reese Lambert are striving to place on the national stage this summer! Cassie and Lindsay served as mentors to provide valuable feedback.

Congratulations to sophomores, Logan Jones and Grayson Gobel!
Mr. Knopp presented small scholarships and certificates to Logan and Grayson on behalf of WVSSAC. The West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission provided an opportunity for students to submit program cover designs. Logan was recognized for the winning program design for the 2026 State Swim Championship. Grayson was recognized for the winning program design for the 2026 State Wrestling Tournament. Logan and Grayson each achieved certification in Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop 2024, last year when enrolled in Digital Imaging 1. Both students are currently enrolled in Digital Imaging 2.

Grafton High had a First Place winner in the West Virginia State Social Studies Fair in Charleston on Tuesday, April 28th!
Seniors Anna Poling and Jaylin Summers won for their presentation "Women Do the Work" which was a culmination of four years working together on social studies fair projects revolving around the theme of women and war. They had previously won at the state fair.
