Taylor County Schools NTID Plan: What Families Need to Know
As we prepare for Non-Traditional Instructional Days (NTID), we want to ensure our families are fully supported! Watch our short video overview to see how NTIDs work in Taylor County Schools.
Key Highlights for Families:
• 📱 Learning & Assignments: Students complete performance-based lessons using district-issued iPads or hardcopy packets distributed by teachers. Assignments focus on core skills in literacy, math, science, and social studies.
• ⏰ Teacher Contact: Teachers and staff are available to answer questions and assist families via email, TEAMS, or Rooms from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• 📅 Work Submission: Students have two instructional days following the school closure to complete and submit assigned work.
• 🍎 Student Nutrition: Feeding sites are open at every school in the district during NTIDs. Students are not restricted to their home school and may pick up meals at any school location.
