Taylor County Schools students are asked to wear red, white, and blue tomorrow (Feb. 21) to display their support to Liberty High School faculty, staff, and students in this difficult time. The staff and students of Liberty High School are in our thoughts for comfort and support in this time of need.

The Taylor County Board of Education is currently developing options for the 2024-25 school calendar. Options being considered include a week long spring break OR two long weekend breaks during the spring months. Also under consideration is a possible shift in Grafton High School graduation dates due to timing of other breaks and requirements set forth by the WVDE.
A public hearing is scheduled for February 27, 2024, at 5:30 at the Taylor County Board of Education to discuss the school calendar options as well as the Non-Traditional Day Plan (NTID).
If you have concerns or questions, please plan to attend or email Jenny McCarthy-jmccarthy@k12.wv.us for calendar concerns/questions
OR Helen Roberts-hjroberts@k12.wv.us for NTID plan concerns/questions.
