Industry leaders meet with TCS

Staff from the Taylor County Board of Education and Grafton High, met with Frank Vitale of Forge Business Solutions as well as local business representatives, to discuss skills that are needed by students after graduating high school.  Discussion included each representative talking about the skills needed for employees, including "soft skills", to be successful in that industry.  Representatives were present from RCBI, Arch Coal, Mon Health, WVU Medicine, Pierpont, and MHIRJ.  Plans to host "Industry Days" are underway. These days will focus on various fields that students from Taylor County could end up in after high school. The goal is to provide the students with an experience and interest in becoming a productive, working citizen.
